So we have good news and bad news. The good news is that Brian Tang and I have a new short film coming your way next year!
This, personally, is my proudest piece of work, and I couldn't be more thrilled with this 20-min movie we've created. It's a bigger and better film than I ever dreamed of making. The actors, the story, the cinematography and visual effects...everything is at the top of its game. Check out the trailer below:

So that's the great news. The full film should be out on Youtube sometime next year (I'll keep you guys updated on that). The bad news is that we may not have another Ultrakids movie in a very, very long time. Our team is no longer made up of high school kids with nothing better to do during the summer. We're all in college, some out of college, and if we're going to continue making movies, it has to be more than a hobby. Prebirth (the film above) is a step toward that. I know the last movie ended on a cliffhanger. Sorry about that, guys. Be assured that if we ever made an Ultrakids 7, Kellan, Sasha, and Gears would've escaped. Eventually.
Some "counter" good news is that if Ultrakids ever comes back, it'll be in a bigger and better way than ever before. I spent 6 years creating the Ultrakids universe in my head, and there's about an infinite number of Ultrakids stories I could tell. But I'm saving them for one day, when the opportunity rises, to bring back the Ultrakids to a new audience. So yeah, this is just me imagining things in my head, but think of it like a promise. I love the Ultrakids world and the characters in it, and I wish I could keep on making these movies for the rest of my life. But yeah, we have to grow up and stuff and get real jobs. Listen well, kids! It's better to be responsible than to have fun. So for now, this is good-bye to the Ultrakids world, but a welcome to greater things to come.

P.S. Some other cool news: Kellan from Ultrakids 6 makes a small cameo in our new movie! Daniel Lisle plays Adrien, a boy trapped in the spiritual world....that's all I can say without spoilers!
